Hey guys,
So, I'm making a pact with myself.
I will be available to do stuff on weekends.
As far as weekdays, I'm putting my foot down and ending this school year with a bang!
Animation will WITHOUT A DOUBT become a much bigger part of me and Newgrounds this summer.
No excuses, I'll have 73ish days to myself! So expect great stuff that will actually be planned and not freeballed (all the time).
As far as my animated series(s), they will both be structured during this summer as well.
Anyone wanna collab, please do not hesitate to PM me, especially when summer comes!
Thanks

Without a doubt, I'd say this site is doing well.
It's starting to grow on me as well!!

The fact that it uses .swf files in all their glory and smoothness is amazing
While I love YouTube, it's hard to get my animations at just the right quality and smoothness with very very minimal frame skip.

I used to be meh about the voting system, but now, I love it.
To me, it seems like free promotion the moment you upload something.
My last submission had to have gotten at least 8 or 9 responses, enough to fill a page and start another.
That makes me feel special and heard.

Because of these reasons, I'm going to start animating a WHOLE lot more to get my fill of this site
Congratulations Newgrounds, you've officially caught yourselves a new one!

I have made an awful first impression, guys!
I am deeply sorry.
This site has seemed to become more intimidating ever since my first "blam/save"

Also, I've caught myself a case of animator's block.
Using my now secret weapon, I will use every fiber of my being to animate as much as I can last tomorrow.
I'm getting back in action, baby!
It's gonna feel SOOOOOO good!!!

Due to a recent high school flash related project done well, and I'm surprised I get SO many opportunities to animate for school, I have decided to educate you on a beginner's way to record very good sounding vocals.

All you need is an iphone or ipod touch and the mail app on it set up, along with a sound editing software that allows .m4a files (I just use audacity)

Step 1: Eliminate echo or room noise by either putting non-sound-reflecting materials on the walls or do what i did and take two pillows and conceal yourself in a sort-of-makeshift cubby or box.

Step 2: Open up the voice memo app and record your dialogue.

Step 3: Email the lines to yourself and download them onto your computer (Once you've emailed them by iphone, open them up on a computer)

Step 4: Edit the sound clips using any technique you know to clean up audio (I remove the white noise in the background, compress, and equalize it using audacity.)

Step 5: Save/Export either individually or set it up into one wave file (or mp3 if you so choose).

Step 6: Import into flash and animate!!!

Happy Flash Movie-ing!!!

I uploaded a video to my youtube and am doing my best to spread in the hopes that enough people could notice it and maybe put it on the front page of youtube. This is a man from my school and his name is Trey Nobles . The day of prom and the day before spring break, he decided to sing for the class and told us that he's looking for a career in music. If you watch the video, you'll see what I mean.

I need your support as well to share this video! Link Below!!!!

A now familiar name, RyanHatesMilk, or TheHamWalletdotcom on YouTube, is looking for animators for Pokemon but with animals instead.

I figured, "Why not?"

He pays and I'll be doing work for people!
Oh boy!!!

Haven't heard back from him yet though, so I'll let you know what goes on!!!

Hey guys...
So sorry for the lack of animation, nothings been uploaded to my youtube animation-wise either
Steam and school are slowly taking over my life and this is not acceptable.
So, guess what?
My chicken butt is making a vow to release an animation at least once a month.
This will be uploaded to both my youtube and newgrounds, so look forward to some new random content.

Just recently, i was screwing around in Flash and ended up making just about the smoothest head turn I think I'll ever do at my experience level.

Other than that, the urge to animate has been slightly depleted.
I still want to do it, nevertheless, I've just stumbled across a problem.
A DUBSTEP RELATED PROBLEM!!! :D lol
What happened was I downloaded the demo version of FL Studio 10.
Being a demo, the big limitation is that you can't reopen files (you can save them, just not reopen.)

Now for some reason, the mic plugin that came with the demo does not allow me to open audacity for reasons unknown.
Audacity is what I use to record...
Worst meets worst, I suppose I'll write down the beats on paper and then be able to close it and use Audacity again.
Until then, I'll just be updating whenever I see fit.

Give me suggestions? I'll take them into consideration! If I end up doing them, I will credit you in all your glory!
Thanks for understanding!!!!! :D

Due to convincing and my awesome personality,
I now have a Bamboo Create Pen & Touch.
It's not the intuos4, but I'd say its pretty damn close.

Animations are on their way, because now I have means of motivation.
Stay Tuned, and thats all I can think to say...
lol

P.S.
This also means my two animated series are that much closer to being started!!! :D

I suppose this happens happens to everyone.
But of all entries, why the frame by frame?

Granted, its not a good idea to use a trackpad to animate
HOWEVER, it was only a test.
It even said so in the intro "preloader"

I will get a good mouse to use until I get an intuos4.
In the meantime,
please read the fine print people
That's all I ask

Thanks
